Review - Fanta Strawberry Soda

Bottler: Coca-Cola

Calories per Ounce: 15

Caffeine: No

Aaron's Comments: Fanta Strawberry soda is very definitely a strawberry soda, with a strong and tasty strawberry flavor front and center. As with the Fanta Grape and Fanta Orange sodas that were reviewed earlier, the Fanta Strawberry was bottled in Mexico, and as a result it is sweetened with sugar rather than corn syrup. This makes it very sweet, so having it over ice makes it even better, cutting the heavy sweetness and letting the strawberry flavor shine through even more. Using the soda in an ice cream float results in a definite strawberries and cream effect, and although I used vanilla ice cream, I suspect that it would be even better with strawberry ice cream. As with the other two sugar-sweetened Fanta sodas, the Fanta Strawberry doesn't foam up like many other sodas when ice cream is added, which is a nice bonus when making an ice cream float.

Angela's Comments: It is very good. We should get this more often.
